Beautiful photo of our church on an autumn evening with a waxing moon.

The moon has always been a symbol for Mary. Mary’s soul magnifies the Lord; the moon reflects the light of the sun. Likewise, the Church is the Bride of Christ, shining with the radiance of Truth.

Inside the church early on a stormy Sunday morning

The 4th Station of the Cross in the upper church. Jesus meets His afflicted Mother.

Our patron, St. John the Evangelist, with his quill pen and scroll — he is writing his gospel — and the Eagle, his symbol. His words have wings, transporting us to heaven.

Door to the lower chapel, where we attend daily Mass

The lower chapel, where we have daily Mass and Confession

The parish library. Bibles, Catholic Catechisms, writings of the saints, etc… Fr. Cannon holds his adult Catechism classes here

On the left, St. Anthony adores the Christ Child, who has just sprung out of the Bible as St. Anthony was meditating. Lower chapel

On the right, our Blessed Mother with her rosary and scapular. Upper chapel

And finally, our parish hall, where we have Religious Ed classes (in adjoining classrooms), Coffee Hours after the 10am Mass, Summer Bible Adventure, Family Events, etc…
