Dear Parishioners,
Please be sure to check the parish website for parish news. The bulletin, especially, is up to date and pertinent. Also, the Sunday Mass from St. John’s is being streamed on the website.
The present situation has certainly impacted many in a negative way financially, please know that you are in my prayers in a very special way. The parish is also affected. We are grateful for those that are using WeShare our electronic giving system and for those that have been sending in their offertory envelopes via the mail.
The offertory collection is the financial lifeblood of the parish. For the past couple of weeks, and at this point, for some weeks to come, we will continue to be without it. For those that are able, please send in a special Easter donation to the parish. It would be very, very much appreciated.
Spiritually, please do what you can, especially as a family, to prayer the Rosary and the Divine Mercy Chaplet. They are rich and powerful prayers, strongly encouraged by holy Church, that keep us close to our Lord and our Lady.
May God bless each one of you and with His help, and the prayers of Our Blessed Mother and our patron, St. John the Evangelist, we’ll get through this together.
Yours in Christ,
Rev. Richard E. Cannon
Pastor
