Keeping the Faith
Please join us for a Parish Lenten Mission with Fr. John Broussard, CPM, March 21-26 at all weekend Masses and Monday through Thursday at 7PM in the upper church. Confessions will be available before and after mission talks. Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament with conference. Topics include: Confession, The theology of suffering and the cross, The Blessed Virgin Mary, The Eucharist and the Mass, Living the faith in our daily lives. Examination of conscience available. Fr. John is a native of Houston, Texas, and is a graduate of Seton Home Study in 2005. Fr. John is a permanently professed religious priest of the Fathers of Mercy. He completed his bachelors of philosophy at Holy Apostles College and Seminary and his Master of Divinity at the same institution; graduating in 2014. Father John was ordained to the Holy Priesthood on June 7th, 2014. He is currently serving as the Rector at the National Shrine of Our Lady of Good Help in Champion, Wisconsin and part time on the mission band traveling and preaching parish missions and retreats. Father attributes his vocation to the prayers of his family and devotion to the Blessed Mother.
